There will be a time when public notification via database is the only punishment for a crime. A cheap alternative to be sure. We’re already engaged in indecent public exposure for the crime of indecent public exposure!

Citizens in question: “What’d ya do to get pinched?”
Offending Man: “This!! ” ~ Drops his pants.
      Citizens in question: “OMG!”
      Offensive Man: “You asked.”

This 100% true, I have read the research docs also. Specifically about Pennsylvania because how bad the incarceration rate is as well as the quantity of people on supervision and the stagering high numbers of people returned to prison for a violation of supervision, not an actual crime…!!!

This is the one reason why I am in complete favor of Defunding the current criminal justice system. Simply for the fact the current criminal justice system is not making society safer nor are they helping anyone to be a positive, productive citizen.

Our current system makes society worse and destroys local communities as well as the individual who gets introduced to it.
