Perry P.Surely by now; The so-called ‘Judicial System’ has seen firsthand, the absolute impacts of The Registry on Entire Families of Registrants…ESPECIALLY THE CHILDREN IT PURPORTS TO PROTECT! A DA’s kid decides to bully a Registrant’s kid to the point of the Registrant’s kid committing suicide. The DA knows why The Registrant’s kid died, but does nothing to correct or even punish his own. They see it as ‘Justifiable’! We all know of something like this has happened all over the Nation, but again, no one cares or says anything…because it’s much easier to tear down an entire family of a Registrant, than a DA’s! Same thing goes for the kid of a Judge too…or State Representative or even a Federal One! Again, same applies to even a Celebrity’s kid. All these have the same thing in common: THEY, can get away with ANYTHING. The rest of a Community, can’t. And I say again…IT’S ALL ABOUT MONEY!

DonnaYes it’s true, and the shame is further demonstrable to the parents of a registrant. My husband and I have lived in the same neighborhood and house for 39 years. We were lucky enough to buy a small home next door back in 1989. This home is now were our son lives. Since his release from prison we have noticed a steady decline in the number of people who are friendly and talk to us. These are people we have known for years and now treat us as if we are not worthy of their friendships. That’s pretty darn shameful, but in many ways this experience has made us better people all the way around. In my heart and mind I can deal with it most of the time but some cannot, especially children of registrants. It is just unacceptable. The registry is a perfect example of “two wrongs don’t make a right.”
