Tell Keith and Carolyn we all stand behind them.
This is all going way too far!
May God Himself give them favor in the sight of the legislative and judicial systems, and remedial judgement given on their behalf.
    Amen.

Absolute kudos to these people. F*ck nextdoor.com every single day. They are an un-American company that needs to be run out of America. Every single person should e-mail nextdoor.com and tell them how pathetic they are.

Much gratitude to Keith and Carolyn for taking up the banner and charging with this one. Nextdoor needs to realize how they are violating their own guiding truths and principles with their policies, namely (these are direct quotes):

-“Building connections in the real world is a universal human need.” (someone needs to explain the meaning of universal to these individuals)
-“Nextdoor is not a platform for publicly shaming your neighbors.” (Their actions, by excluding registrant families, promotes an environment where this is not only possible, but much more likely. How can one defend themselves when they are excluded from the virtual public square?)
-“Also, when describing people who are homeless or who have committed crimes, avoid inflammatory language (e.g. “scum” or “animals”). Keep in mind that everyone is someone’s son or daughter or sister or brother.” (Once again, it puzzles me that they can say this with one breath, then exclude millions of individuals from participating in the public discourse with the next. Besides, how can registrant families verify that NEXTDOOR is enforcing these policies?)

In my opinion, those who are leading NEXTDOOR are simply puppets pulled by the strings of the internet corporate machine which seeks to minimize risk (and liability) and maximize revenue from those they serve. Since they see their customers as the product, they have little regard for what they think, at least to the extent that it doesn’t harm their ability to exploit their customers as a source of revenue. Otherwise, how would they be so blind to their own glaring hypocrisy?

One last suggestion, if you can’t get the attention of those leading the company, you can contact those that hold the financial purse strings. Here is the list of the top investors. I guarantee that if we get their attention, we will have the attention of NEXTDOOR as well!

    Investors:
Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Axel Springer, and others.

    Best wishes in your efforts!
