All I can say is they stopped years ago giving you credit for time served on the registry while in prison. Their thinking is the whole point of the registry is to supervise you. If you are in prison, there is no need to supervise you as you are already being supervised. Too many people were serving the majority of their registration in prison. I can’t give you legal advice, but if it were me, I would pay the $200-$250.00 to ask an attorney. It is a lot of money, however, your freedom is worth it. Stay away from “free consultations” because they are trying to sell you their services vs. providing you with service. Trust me, it is well worth it.
