My name was one of the thousand+ tier 2’s that were removed from the website last night. I called the Megan’s Law office and I was told that this DOES NOT mean I have been removed from the registry, but rather that I am one of the people slated for review because my date is coming up.
I had no registration requirement previous to SORNA, so I will be coming off, but this feels like a step in the right direction.
