We should grieve because PSP is caught in the middle. When it comes to administering the registry, PSP can’t do anything without the express permission of the law or the Attorney General. Granted, the Muniz decision tells them “x”. However, the General Assembly also said “Oh no no. We can’t have this. We are going to “fix Muniz” so all these people don’t have to come off. ” So until a Court overrules the Attorney General, that is what they are going to do.
I am not saying “Do not fight”. I am saying “Wait, for the right moment”. Until we know the final version of the new law, we can’t fight it.
Relief will come. Just not this very second.
