After watching your video presentation the only thing I have to say is FINALLY somebody gets it. I have been writing about this very issue and pressing for this type of research for the last 10 years. I took the data from the Nebraska Registry to find out the actual re-offense rate for people in Nebraska. In 2012 I presented this to the legislature in Nebraska which cause them to have a study done that was published by the University of Nebraska in 2013 where the researchers found that the recidivism for people on the Nebraska Registry was less than 6/10 of 1% in any given year and they had to do it yearly because of the fluidity of the registry (people being added and removed from the registry). They also found that after AWA that the recidivism actually increase. It might be worth your while to look at some of the prior front page articles at SOSEN.org (sex offender solutions and educational network) that pertain to the re-offense rates.
