RSOL in Action: A Trump presidency
On Thursday evening, November 17, starting at 7:30 eastern time, Larry hosted the monthly RSOL in Action teleconference
This month our conference call focuses on how the election of Donald Trump may impact our cause. We will engage the callers in general discussion regarding what a Trump presidency may mean for overly-harsh sentencing and for the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court. The call format will be slightly different, and questions will be taken throughout the presentation.
This month’s call recording can be heard HERE.
During the call, we referenced a report about past decisions by supreme court justices, with an eye toward who appointed them. This can be found HERE.
Do you mean November?
Yes. November! Thanks for catching that for us.
IF Trump appoints justices who adheres to the Constitution, then perhaps this registry and the draconian unconstitutional laws can be thrown out. But I guess that’s just a pipe dream at the moment.
Considering how a few members in Trump’s administration are already discussing creating new registries for certain groups I wouldn’t get too optimistic either.
Timing is everything and I feel very positive about RSOL move on this teleconference thing. I believe it is a good idea in the making. Last year me and a lady friend that lives beside a sex offender that’s in a different position than myself want to attend the general assembly meetings in Richmond, VA but we could never get it together.
That would of been a 2 hr. trip and two hr. back trip and with her health we didn’t make it so with our new up coming president and view’s from you all on RSOL I can see we will have a more voice and a broad range of damaged circumstances to work with.
One might say we may all be collateral damage and that would be very unconstitutional.
I was registered but unable to connect due to Metro situation/my phone co. Funny, I was able to use the number in Oct. but something at Metro changed and I cannot connect.
Louis,
I don’t know why you weren’t able to connect. The recorded version should be on this page soon

The recording is now on this blog! Along with the historic look at supreme court justices mentioned during the call.
