ACTION ALERT – Combat Halloween Hysteria

This is YOUR CHANCE to counter some of the ridiculous Halloween hype with facts. Patch publications have been very vocal each year with warnings and maps showing the homes of registrants in order to “keep children safe.”

NARSOL is currently sending out fact-filled letters asking for a “cease and desist” from Patch. These are being emailed and sent by post to Patch’s corporate executives in New York City. Copies are also heading to three of the top New York newspapers along with a preface giving our rationale.

This Advancing Advocacy meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 8 – 9 p.m. eastern time and intends to engage as many of you as possible with Patch publications in your own states. We will provide you with contact info, a form letter for you to insert your own information, and a copy of our letter to Patch headquarters to enclose.

Please sign up so that we will know who to expect and can more easily send out materials after the meeting. You may join the meeting through Free Conference Call — details and the link are in the registration form — or you may call (712) 451-0414, code 628068# by regular phone. Please join us to find out more about this important project.
