Good morning; we know that you have been waiting for official word of the status of our 2020 conference. We wanted to wait until plans were solidified as much as possible before making an official announcement.
We are now prepared to announce that we will be having a truncated conference in way of a webinar. The dates are Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13. All of the speakers who were scheduled to appear at the 2020 conference in Raleigh have agreed to the webinar format.
Last week we did notify those who had already paid for registration that we had made the difficult but responsible decision to cancel the 2020 national conference. You should have received that notification if you had already registered. Three options were given: the registree could request and receive a refund; the money could be applied to next year’s conference registration, or the money could be given as a donation to NARSOL or Vivante.
We have not firmed up all of the details for the webinar yet, but you will be notified as soon as possible about the schedule, the registration procedures, and whether or not there will be a small fee. In the meantime, feel free to inform everyone you know who might be interested in the information given here.
