NARSOL in Action: PA v. Muniz

You are invited to the NARSOL In Action conference call February 7th beginning at 7:00 eastern time. This call will focus on the recent decision by the United States Supreme Court to deny the state’s request to review the State Supreme Court’s decision in Commonwealth v. Muniz. This is the 2017 case that declared PA’s current version of Pennsylvania’s registration unconstitutional.

Our special guests will be Lea Bickerton and Robert Cicchinelli. Ms. Bickerton is an attorney with extensive experience dealing with registry issues. Mr. Cicchinnelli serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Prison Society and chairs their policy subcommittee for sex offender issues. Theresa Robertson, who is NARSOL’s advocate in PA, will also be assisting us with the call.

The outline for the call is as follows:

  • Review of the Muniz Decision by Ms. Bickerton;
  • Questions by panel for Ms. Bickerton and Mr. Cicchinelli; and
  • Audience questions with preference to callers in PA.

Although it is not mandatory, we ask that you sign up here so that we have an idea how many will be attending the call. The phone number is 641.715.3660, followed by 957605#.

New Live Stream Option

We also are going to Live Stream the call on You Tube. There won’t be any video, just an audio stream, so you can try this if you’d rather not call in. You can use your Roku or ChromeCast and have the call played over your TV. How cool is that? https://www.youtube.com/c/NARSOL/live
