A teenager has been cleared of abusing a younger child after telling a jury he was playing football at the times when the abuse was alleged to have taken place.
Bradley Down, now aged 18, was accused of having made a younger boy take part in sex acts with him at a time when he was 10 and the other child just eight.
Most of the assaults were alleged to have happened in Exeter on Sundays, but he told the jury he was normally playing football or cricket.
He also denied abusing the younger boy in the toilets of the Toby Carvery in Exeter when he was aged about 12 and in a hot tub in the city at around the same time. (Source)
